New Delhi: The craze for Aditya Dhar's Bollywood blockbuster 'Dhurandhar' has currently swept  like a tsunami across the box office. Both installments of this Ranveer Singh-starrer have created a sensation at the box office. Along with its compelling storyline, the film's songs are also making waves.

Consequently, everyone is grooving to the tracks from 'Dhurandhar'. So, how could our cricketers be left behind? Recently, at a Mumbai Indians event, cricketer Suryakumar Yadav was also spotted grooving to a song from *Dhurandhar*. This video of Suryakumar Yadav is being widely appreciated by his fans on social media and has gone viral.

How did Suryakumar Make an Entry in 'Dhurandhar' Style?

Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav recently attended a Mumbai Indians event. At this event, Suryakumar brought the worlds of Bollywood and cricket together by recreating the viral dance steps from Akshay Khanna's song 'Fa9la' in 'Dhurandhar'. Making a stylish, cinematic entry, Suryakumar managed to both surprise and delight everyone present.

On Thursday, April 2, the Mumbai Indians uploaded this very video of Suryakumar to their Instagram account. In Aditya Dhar's film 'Dhurandhar', Akshay Khanna was portrayed as 'Rahman Dacoit'. Even more than his role and acting prowess, it was his dance steps in *Dhurandhar* that left everyone completely captivated. Sharing this moment on social media with a fitting caption, the Mumbai Indians wrote, "This is Dada's style—full 'Dhurandhar' mode!" The clip went viral rapidly, much to the delight of both cricket and film fans.

What do we know about 'Dhurandhar'?

'Dhurandhar 2' is the sequel to the 2025 hit film 'Dhurandhar', which was released last December. The original film depicted how Hamza infiltrates a Baloch gang in Lyari, Pakistan, to dismantle a terrorist organization. This sequel provides the backstory, illustrating how circumstances lead to Jaskirat transforming into Hamza. Ranveer, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, and other actors have reprised their original roles in this film. The first film, 'Dhurandhar', grossed ₹1,300 crore worldwide and, despite having been released in December, is still running in theaters three months later. It is expected that its sequel will perform even better.
